"Marinated Mushrooms" and "Mushroom Dipping Sauce" by Bill Fenske
Fenske’s dipping recipe specifically calls for “Chris and Pitt’s Bar-B-Q sauce”. A southern California creation, Chris and Pitt sauce was developed in the Lynwood kitchen of Greek-American Chris Pelonis. The currently available, signature recipe dates to 1949, the same year Rosemead Highschool was established.
