Sunkist Holiday Bulletin
From the California Fruit Growers Exchange of Los Angeles
Los Angeles, 1925
The Sunkist Bulletins were a series of pamphlets promoting the nutrition, domestic science, and ways to cook with citrus. The leaflets were produced from the 1920s until at teast the 1940s.
Like several similar books in this archive put out by farmers co-operatives, these bulletins were used to market California produce across the United States and internationally. Women featured heavily in promotions, as they were often making the food purchasing choices for their household. Women also were an important labor source for the citrus industry, particularly in sorting and packing plants.
